Web-based working environment Users can initiate a workflow process from any popular browsers on the Internet or the Intranet.  With no need to install any client software, it allows users to work from remote locations using a tool which is commonly available.

 

Simple Workflow Monitoring The engine supports online monitoring and reconfiguration.  Administrator can reconfigure a workflow and monitor any workflow process through click and fill-in-blank without any programming or scripting.

 

Role-based workflow The engine routes a workflow based on roles or job functions instead of an individual.  Each individual can be involved in multiple jobs simultaneously and served as different roles.

 

Conditional workflow routing The engine can automatically start, suspend, cancel, or restart a workflow process periodically or based upon a variety of conditions.

 

Email notification The engine sends email notification to relevant group members if a workflow instance is activated.  The message will be re-sent in case the original is lost due to some errors or the receiver has no response within a predefined time period.

 

Online approval A completed workflow task will be forwarded to approver by the engine.  Approver can then approve or reject the task and add comment to it.  If approver rejects the workflow task, it will "flow back" to the previous step.

 

Automatic information distribution The engine automatically distributes relevant information and files of a workflow to associated parties.  Besides, it allows attachment and detachment of that information and files based on workflow process and receiver role.

 

Workload management The group manager can view how much and what types of tasks are pending for a group member.  It also allows manager to re-assign tasks which the user will be called upon to perform.

 

Reminder of tasks Calendar, activities, processes and templates list are displayed to notify users that there are new tasks activated and waiting for actions. Users also can filter the work list based on many criteria or sort them by priority, identifier or state.

 

Forum, notice board and voting enable members to have discussion and voting for any decision.  Routing of emails is thus reduced.

 

Resources sharing like forms and images can be used by members based on rules or roles.  Information of each group or department can be provided for public browsing or usage.
